On the same day an arrest warrant was issued against for graft and plunder charges, Masbate Governor Rizalina Seachon-Lanete turned herself in to the Philippine National Police headquarters in Camp Crame.

On Thursday, CIDG chief Director Benjamin Magalong said Lanete surrendered around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, hours after the Sandiganbayan issued an arrest warrant against her over criminal charges in connection with the alleged P10-billion pork barrel scam.

Earlier, radio dzBB's Rodil Vega reported that those who accompanied Lanete were her lawyer and some relatives.

The dzBB report said she would undergo fingerprinting and mug shots of her would be taken.

On Wednesday, the Sandiganbayan's Fourth Division issued an arrest warrant against Lanete over graft and plunder charges in connection with the alleged P10-billion pork barrel scam.

Lanete had been one of the subjects of a hold departure order over the scam allegedly masterminded by trader Janet Lim-Napoles.

Also named in the arrest warrant were Napoles and John Raymond de Asis. Napoles is currently detained in Bicutan, Taguig.

No bail was recommended for their temporary liberty
